Recoating Prep
A customer who recoats anodes and cathodes for use in chlorine manufacture wanted to process both platinum-coated nickel and Iridium coated titanium in order to carry out a recoating service. Rs Bruce was able to take the coated components remove the precious coating and return the anodes/cathodes with the correct RA for recoating.
Iridium Recovery
A customer who decommissioned some of their anodes/cathodes for replacement had historically only been able to attract low-grade titanium scrap pricing for their waste material. Rs Bruce was able to offer a toll processing service for the recovery of the iridium and then return the clean titanium for sale. The customer was able to unlock a considerable amount of value by having the iridium removed and refined.

A waste company had purchased platinum and iridium-coated titanium and was looking for a refining outlet for their material. Rs Bruce was able to offer refining terms for the iridium meaning the waste collector could realise the value of both the titanium and the precious metals.
