Recovery of Palladium from Potassium Bromide Salts
RSBruce have recovered Palladium from KBr Salts for a European pharmaceutical manufacturer.
Our client had approximately 700KG of Potassium Bromide Salts from a production process. These salts contained over 10Kg of Palladium.
The client asked us to extract the Palladium so that it could be refined, so we did.
We successfully extracted over 99.99% of the Palladium present. The Recovered Palladium was then refined to return the Palladium metal to the client’s account for re-use in manufacturing.
